Hi, welcome to AnotherPointlessBlog.com :D. Today I will be going through how RSS feeds work with you. The main goal for any decent webmaster out there is ease of use for his or her viewers. Nobody wants to go to a website that strains their eyes, or makes them feel lost in your magnitudes of navigation links all over the page. Users like ease of use, they want what they want, as soon as they can get it, and if they can’t find the right path to use on your website they will leave within a few seconds. Sucks eh? We are all impatient. So lets us look through on how RSS informs users and keeps them interested in your content.
RSS stands for Rich Site Summary however a ‘coined’ term for RSS is Really Simple Syndication. Subscribing to an RSS feed is much like subscribing to your weekly paper. Every time there has been added content on a particulars website whom you are subscribed to RSS will send out a nice message with the new content link contained or even with the whole post. This is ease of use. So why would you want to do this? Think about how many websites you visit a day, and how many interest you. One option would be to bookmark the one’s you like and check back every now and again, or the second and much better option is to let them come to you. It can even save you in your internet’s monthly downloads.
